Welcome to the Department of Sociology, Post Graduate Government College, Sector 46, Chandigarh (UT), India. The department offers teaching facilities in B.A. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th Semesters in Sociology & faculty engaged in guiding & supervising Ph.D. students of Panjab University, Chandigarh, India & faculty other social welfare activities. The department has two Regular Faculties, with very high academic degrees & intellectual backgrounds.
